Sweet Corn
Sweet corn is a family favourite and it doesn’t have to be off the menu on the low FODMAP diet. This juicy and sweet vegetable can still make an appearance at your next BBQ, in your salads, or in a tasty salsa or fritter. You just need to watch your portion size to keep it low FODMAP.
How much is low FODMAP?
During the first phase of the low FODMAP diet limit your serving of sweet corn to ½ a cob or ½ cup and avoid larger serves until you are ready to test your tolerance to fructans. Please check the Monash University FODMAP Diet App for more information about this food.
